HELMET FIT: A correctly fitted helmet should feel like an even amount of pressure is being exerted around your head and cheeks. But, helmets break in, so it should fit as tight as you can comfortably wear it. Once fastened, you should NOT be able to pull it off your head in any direction. Attention first-time helmet buyers: If your helmet is loose at all, and doesn't fit well, it CANNOT deliver the best protection. A helmet's strict safety standards can be compromised after only one impact collision. If the integrity is in question, send it back to us for proper inspection.

If you have a more narrow head shape you may need to go a size smaller. If you have a hard time getting a helmet to fit properly, go to a motorcycle shop that sells Shoei helmets to test fit a helmet. If not available we can send one for a test fit.
  • LZR Air Helmet Maintenance
  • Taking good care of your air helmet system is your best protection against a malfunctioning system. When not in use always keep helmet in helmet bag or in a dry, dirt free area and out of the sun.
  • It is recommended to pad the inside of the cockpit to help protect the helmet and the user.
  • To clean the shield use Windex or any window cleaner only.
  • To clean rubber seal for the shield use soapy water and let dry
  • Use vasoline to keep rubber seal in good working condition
  • Anti-fog shield insert should be replaced every year.
  • To clean neck seal and use soapy water & hang dry.
  • If inside of helmet gets wet, remove neck seal and let it dry out. If helmet has comms. let it dry out good before testing radios.
  • For $75.00 send to SRP to clean and inspect system every 2 years.
  • WARNING: If there is any air leaks or blow by from the regulators please call SRP. Never go to a scuba shop. They may cause more problems and cost you more.

WARNING: This system works best when fit is correct and when in use in a well built inclosed capsule that is built to hold together in a crash. Any capsule failure may cause a air system to fail by intense water pressures and/or unseen debris.  User in a reinforced open cockpit and or blow away-lid are more likely to have system failure by being more exposed to intense water pressures and/or unseen debris. No air system is guaranteed to function 100% of the time. Considering the fact there is no air system that will eliminate all risks. The user is solely and ultimately responsible for selecting suitable safety products.
